Introduction and classification of molybdenum disulfide grease
Molybdenum disulfide-containing solids, semi-fluids, and fluid greases have superior smoothness to mechanically conflicting parts working in extreme pressure environments, but they do not have good high temperature resistance.
Molybdenum disulfide grease is a molybdenum disulfide extreme pressure grease refined by inorganic thickener thickened ester synthetic oil, and added with molybdenum disulfide solid smoothing agent and various additives such as anti-oxidation and rust prevention. This high temperature and high pressure grease is designed for smooth bearing and sports equipment under high temperature, high load / shock load environment, and provides long-term anti-wear and corrosion maintenance. Applicable temperature range: -30 ~ + 350 ℃.
Wear of machinery in the course of mechanical work is inevitable, so it is necessary to reduce wear and extend service life. Therefore, the use of grease is essential, and its effects are mainly smooth, maintenance and sealing. Let's take a look at the classification of grease by effect.
At the top of the list, anti-friction greases: mainly reduce the effects of mechanical conflicts and avoid mechanical wear. Together, it also has a maintenance effect to avoid metal corrosion and a seal and dustproof effect.
Second, maintenance grease: mainly used to avoid metal rust or corrosion.
Third, sealed grease: Grease is designed for sealing.
Most greases are semi-solid substances with unique mobility.
The working principle of the grease is that the thickener sticks the oil to the position where it needs to be smooth. When there is a load, the thickener releases the oil, so it has a smooth effect.
It is semi-solid at normal temperature and stopped, can adhere to its shape without movement, and can adhere to metal without slipping. At high temperatures or when subjected to external forces beyond a certain limit, it will dilute into a liquid and be able to move.
When the grease is subjected to the shearing effect of moving parts in the machine, it can move and smooth, reducing conflicts and wear between moving surfaces.
When the shearing effect ceases, it can restore a certain consistency, and this special mobility of the grease determines that it can be smoothed in places that are not suitable for smooth oil.
In addition, because it is a semi-solid substance, its sealing effect and maintenance effect are better than smooth oil.
